Elisha will portray the man's daughter and Andie MacDowell, Kelli Garner, S. Epatha Merkerson and Paz Vega are reportedly in talks to perform the wives. Shooting starts next month in Connecticut.

Elisha Cuthbert has denied reports of a potential proposal to pose nude in Playboy magazine, claiming she is too shy to bare all. The actress confesses she asks for body double for nudity scenes and says she’ll only take her clothes off if it’s absolutely necessary. Elisha says, "I wouldn't cancel out a nude scene but, right now, with my life and my career, I don't feel the need to do that. I don't feel it's necessary. Taking about the roles she chooses, the actress explains, "I've been doing fine finding roles that don't need to have full-frontal nudity in them. There have been points where we've had to use body doubles, and, obviously, as I get older, the roles get more mature."I never shy away from saying, 'OK guys, we can do this; let's just use a double.' I feel I give a lot to the public and there's a few things in my life right now that I'd like to keep to myself - my breasts being one of them," Elisha concludes.

Elisha Cuthbert almost died during a recent visit to New York. The actress crossed a very busy street without looking and was hit by a car. A very distracted Elisha thought she was about to die. After the car accident, she described, "I almost got killed. We're walking along the street and I'm an idiot because the light turns green and a van screeches (to a halt). "I walked past the van and realized, 'Oh my God, I'm in the middle of an intersection and they've got a green light and I decided to cross.' "As soon as I pass the van, a Mercedes Benz is about to clip me in the knees, and I'm like, `I'm about to die.' So all of a sudden you freeze and think to yourself, `Can I outrun it? No. Am I going to break my legs? Probably.' "And what do I do? This is so cool of me because you realize the kind of person you are. I leaped up onto the car and I bounced and I flew all the way across the intersection. And I land right on my butt in the middle of the intersection. "Am I dead? No I'm not dead. Do I have any bones broken? No. Purse still intact.'"

Elisha Cuthbert confessed that she was incredibly lucky to be part of ‘24’. As soon as the Canadian beauty put one feet on Hollywood, she was cast as Jack Bauer's daughter Kim in the hit show. Cuthbert played a regular role on the drama for three years, before she decided to pursue a movie career on her own. "To be part of that show was lucky," Elisha said. "It was a blessing, but I didn't choose that. It fell into my lap... At that point in my career, I would have done anything - within reason."

Elisha Cuthbert has many strategies to overcome her extreme fear of flying. The actress confess she used to have minor panic attacks before taking off, so she made up some superstitions to calm her nerves. Elisha says, “I have my little things that I do to prevent the fear from happening. I have superstitions about it - I have to call my mother before every flight (and) if I don't get her I'll miss it, I have to walk on the plane with my right foot first... I'll stop and adjust.”

Elisha Cuthbert doesn’t know whether a movie about action series 24 will ever be released. The star told Cinematical.com., “I've got the phone waiting by the bed, and I'm just sort of waiting for it to ring and them to tell me 'hey, we're gonna go do the movie'”. Elisha thinks Kiefer Suitherland is very busy now to begin the shooting , “That would be the ideal situation, but I think Kiefer is so busy getting these seasons done that it's almost impossible to get anything going…we've been talking about it since the first season… but it's got to be good.  She also says that the it would be a real challenge to keep the format, “Their standards are so high over there that if it happens it's gonna happen at the right time and have the right script and all the elements have to be in the right place”.

Movie production enterprise, After Dark Films, has communicated that the final release for horror/ thriller flick "Captivity", starring Elisha Cuthbert and Daniel Gillies, is June 22. The announcement was made after the controversial movie received a one-month suspension on March 29 due to gruesome advertisment in Los Angeles.

Even though "Captivity" 's billboards were wiped out for gruesome, After Dark horror production seems to be on schedule for May 18. Last Thursday a Hollywood production company was penalized for showing gruesome ads of Elisha Cuthbert's new movie 'Captivity'. The Motion Picture Assn. of America, the administrative branch of the major Hollywood studios, ruled a  a monthlong suspension of the ratings process for the film, because of billboards reproducing woman's torture and death. This fact could complicate After Dark Films to release the movie as it was expected on May 18 and also would severely limit its distribution because several commercial movie theaters will not perform unrated movies.
